Due to continued growth and success, we have an exciting newly created position for a Technical Sales Manager to join the Tate team in Dublin, to support our customers in the Nordics Region. If you are a strong and experienced Sales Specialist with experience in Data Centres, Construction or Engineering with a strategic and curious approach. Reporting to the Head of Sales Europe, your role will be to identify new clients and business opportunities within the Data Centre industry and to help the commercial team achieve and exceed their sales and growth targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty are maintained.

We are looking for a driven and talented Sales Professional, well-versed in technical specifications and adept at cultivating client relationships. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of construction and interior fit-outs, (ideally data centre infrastructure) and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll lead our sales efforts for the Nordics, leveraging your expertise to tailor solutions that exceed client expectations. Additionally, you will also have:

  • A third level qualifications in Sales and Marketing / Business / Engineering or similar
  • Solid and stable experience within a technical sales role (construction experience is preferred)
  • An adaptive and strategic approach to sales
  • A highly collaborative approach, utilising the Tate team to ensure client success
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Must possess a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and is a collaborative team player, eager to jump in with flexibility for some travel as and when required.

Responsibilities:

As the Technical Sales Manager overseeing the Nordics region, your pivotal role involves spearheading, identifying and cultivating business prospects within the Data Centre sector. You will travel to the region to meet customers, approx. 30-40% and collaborate closely with a dynamic cross-functional team comprising engineers, manufacturing experts, sales professionals, purchasing specialists, and product management personnel, your mission is to exceed customer expectations. You’ll drive projects seamlessly in alignment with cutting-edge new product development processes and systems. You will also be:

  • Collecting market/competitive benchmark data and regularly review with management team(s)
  • Participating in the preparation of necessary documents for inclusion in tender submissions, including site visits
  • Ensuring effective marketing, offer submission, customer follow-ups and negotiations leading to successful acquisition of orders.
  • Develop new and existing businesses promoting the company’s full range of products to Tier 1 & 2 Contractors as well as Architects.
