Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Sales Manager will provide technical leadership and oversight to both commercial and operational teams, focusing on driving sales and margin growth, customer satisfaction, supplier development, and safety. This role requires close collaboration with the sales and Product Line Development teams to ensure commercial excellence and the development and optimization of strategic supplier product portfolios and solution offerings.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Food Science, Biology, Chemistry preferred
  • Minimum of 3 - 5years of technical and commercial experience (sales, R&D and technical sales).

SKILLS

  • Deep knowledge of specific industry and key formulation technologies
  • Ability to drive results in a matrixed environment
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains strategic supplier technical relationships supporting supplier / product initiatives and campaigns
  • Develops and maintains targeted customer technical relationships
  • Supports Sales, Product Line Development, operations and Management Team in new product launches and supplier additions to optimize overall portfolio and solution offering to the customer
  • Owns, Drives and Delivers on Strategic Supplier Pipeline and Profit Margin Targets
