Description:
Souhrn pozice:
The candidate is a highly organized, self-motivating candidate with excellent communication skills. The candidate promotes and sells Pure-Flo and EnviZion (PF) products direct in the BioPharm market. This is done through distributors, representatives, OEM’s and Engineering Firms (A&E’s). The candidate is a hands-on salesperson who spends most of his time travelling in the region for visiting customers to discover new opportunities and increased sales. He discovers new sales opportunities with existing and new customers, coordinates quote activities and chases the orders to maximize product sales.
The candidate develops new OEM-accounts who build skids and systems. Further the candidate will be responsible to discover and explore large CAPEX-projects by End-users with the result of getting ITT valves sold and installed.
The territory will initially be Benelux, Germany, Eastern Europe (excl. Poland and Lituania).
Markets and territory may change in future. The candidate is expected to support other activities in the region when required by the Sales Director EMEA, India & APAC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Uses persuasion, logic, and product expertise to promote and sell the various valves/products to end users, Engineering companies (A&E accounts), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), and distributors.
- Builds customer intimacy with key accounts
- Maintains, develops and expand the distribution network in the territory.
- Build firm relationships with OEM customers
- Discovers and work on new CAPEX-projects to get ITT valves specified and installed.
- Responsible for the entire sales process, from lead generation until aftermarket support in the region.
- Maintains an up-to-date territory plan and works accordingly.
- Travels national and international approx. 60% of the time to visits key accounts and distributors to achieve intimate customer contacts.
- Performs specification work for day-to-day business and on projects with A&E’s, OEM’s and End-Users.
- Conducts product information seminars and training for end users, A&E accounts, distributors and representatives. Assists distributors and representatives’ sales personnel in making sales calls and securing orders for ITT products.
- Provide ITT with detailed information on the competitive landscape in the territory.
- Maintain reports for active projects and opportunities and support monthly reporting and forecasting process in a timely manner.
- Communicate extensively with direct supervisor on all customers, sales channels and company matters.
- Maintains up-to-date distributor/representative sales action plans, monitors and report progress towards goals.
- Report to and follows the directions given by the Sales Director EMEA, India & APAC.
Požadavky na pozici:
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business, Marketing, or has 7 years experience in the BioPharm industry. Candidates with at least five years of outside diaphragm valve sales experience in BioPharm are preferred. Candidates with good experience in channel management, other valve types (or related products) and/or other capital equipment will be considered.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. The candidate must be fluent in German and English (verbally and in writing).
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
COMPUTING SKILLS
Ability to effectively utilize word processing software, spreadsheets and to navigate and use other custom applications software in a MS Windows environment
