We are looking for a new colleague to join our IC/SP & DIA Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) team to follow DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The position is based anywhere in Germany.

What will you do?

  • The TSS discovers potential opportunities within this market and customer segment with a view to improving allegiance and sales revenue for Thermo Fisher Scientific.
  • The TSS uncovers the customer’s curiosity about our products and drives the Thermo Fisher Scientific value proposition from sample to knowledge.
  • The TSS interfaces and works in close collaboration with key members such as:
  • Sales team, CMD
  • Divisional marketing teams,
  • BU Product Management and Marketing,
  • Application support team Technical service groups (IES) within CMD.
  • Adopt Thermo Fisher 4I value
  • Drive growth
  • Shares the voice of customer towards the Business Unit; supports new Product Introduction (NPI) prospects within territory to increase adoption rates and revenue return
  • Leads the sales funnel and forecast in collaboration with the sales teams.
  • Consults with key account managers and internal partners on acquiring customer forecasts for new and existing business;
  • works on strategies to achieve sales goals and metrics, including value proposition development
  • Uses Thermo Fisher Scientific’s CRMA to efficiently handle the accounts, opportunities, pipelines and forecasting in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintains awareness of competitor and industry activity; Introduces new products and services as available
