Description:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Success in working and driving business growth across business functions
  • Ability to travel overnight travel up to 50% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. independently
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of CRM systems like SFDC
  • Understanding of the sales funnel and how to move sales forward in a changing environment
  • Can-do demeanor and highly motivated to win sales and take share from competitors

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate selling success in the area of microscopes and plate readers
  • Display an acute awareness of the life science marketplace, particularly within cellular imaging & analysis, its trends, and our competitors
  • Drive sales opportunities, including providing information on product capabilities and technical specifications, as well as instrument demonstrations
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, seminars and trade shows
    The instrument portfolio contains innovative, high-quality microscopes and plate readers. Our business unit serves researchers worldwide, accelerating the process of scientific discovery with a strong focus on the areas of applied markets, cellular immunity, neuroscience, and oncology.
