If so, your expertise interests us! We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Support Specialist who will be responsible for acting as an expert advisor and providing technical assistance and support to our sales teams.

Responsibilities:

IN SUMMARY, WHAT DOES THE ROLE CONSIST OF?

The Technical Sales Support will on the one hand technically assist the sales teams, but will also provide support to the project manager in new “business to business” (B2B) requests in order to assess the feasibility of the projects. He/she will develop solutions while respecting the project framework, customer requirements, certifications and production feasibility. The person will have to travel to the field throughout Canada and internationally in order to collect the necessary information to carry out the projects. The role requires several trips to the client’s location and a spirit of collaboration in order to satisfy their needs.

AS A TECHNICAL SALES SUPPORT, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Review and analyze business requests received and act as an expert advisor to confirm feasibility and propose a product solution;
  • Present the tested and approved products to the Project Manager and the client;
  • Visit client premises to carry out detailed assessments of specific project needs and establish relationships of trust with them;
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including : the technical production support, the product designer, the project managers, the engineers and the sales teams, to ensure impeccable project delivery;
  • Design and perfect prototypes by carrying out repetitive testing using mock-ups to validate concepts and functionalities and ensure they comply with project specifications;
  • Travel to customers to carry out installations of personalized products and solutions;
