Description:
The Department of Chemistry is seeking applications for a position as technical/scientific glassblower. The position is situated in our workshops section and includes the development and maintenance of glassware for research and teaching.
The intended start date for this appointment is May 1st, 2025, or upon agreement.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As our technical/scientific glassblower, your main task is to provide specialized, custom-made glass apparatus to our research groups and laboratory teaching facilities.
The candidate is expected to:
- Design, develop and produce new glass ware/prototypes for specific research applications in close collaboration with our research groups.
- Ensure maintenance and repair of existing glass apparatus in our laboratories
- Contribute to various other tasks related to the Department of Chemistry, depending on your competencies and the needs of the department.
Your daily leader will be Head of workshops, Prof. Mogens Christensen.
