Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project and pour schedules and visits job sites to perform QC testing.
  • Perform ongoing CSA & ASTM testing of concrete and raw materials.
  • Record test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
  • Evaluate data, writes reports and generates graphs and charts to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
  • Attend pre-pour meetings and calls on customers promoting value-added products, collects market and job information.
  • Recommend modifications of existing quality or productions standards or procedures.
  • Educate operating personnel on CSA testing procedures and product quality
  • Advise management on issues arising from product problems identified through technical support calls with customers.
  • Participate in investigation of complaints, identifies possible causes, conducts further testing, proposes resolution and works with sales to resolve customer complaints.
  • Conduct QC audits and makes ongoing improvements to the Quality System, including BNQ.
