Role Summary
The Workforce Solutions department is seeking a candidate to join the IT End User Operations Tech team. This individual would join a highly collaborative agile team that is responsible for creating, maintaining, supporting, and improving the enterprise-wide end user workstation environment and the software distribution tools and processes. This position will assist in preparing, testing, maintaining, and providing end user workstation life cycle management. This candidate will work on supporting the operating system and IT equipment provisioned to end users. This will include physical and virtual devices. Experience with creating PC baseload images, device management technologies, hardware performance evaluations, operating system upgrades, and leveraging process improvement techniques /tools is a plus. The ideal candidate will have technical skills, a growth and automation mindset, view learning as a continuous journey, and have strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsible for applications dealing with the overall computer systems operating system and telecommunications network. Must be available to work any shift, weekends or holidays as the situation dictates.

Job Responsibilities:

• 25% 1. Assist management in decisions pertaining to new and existing computer systems hardware and software requirements. Includes research and recommendation of new products and maintenance to current products.
• 25% 2. Assist management in both long- and short-range planning decisions including component failure impact analysis, performance tuning and capacity planning.
• 20% 3. Direct activities of Technical Services Specialist I & II and Technical Services Analyst I within the assigned areas of specialization for:
• Installation and maintenance of TruStage computer systems software packages and products.
• Maintenance of technical assistance and support to customers, including problem determination and resolution, relative to TruStage computer systems software packages.
• 10% 4. Prepare detailed documentation for all functions performed including problem/change management.

Job Requirements:

• BS in MIS or CS or equivalent trade-off in related education and related professional work experience.
• 6 years work experience as a Tech Services Analyst I or equivalent trade-off in related professional work experience with
• demonstrated achievement and progressive responsibilities.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of product installation/customization and current information technology concepts including a high level of proficiency demonstrated in a business environment within the last 3 years in at least 3 of the following:
• Mainframe, Midrange, Windows Systems
• Storage Management Tools
• Source Code Management Tools
• Mainframe, Midrange, Windows Performance Monitoring Packages
• Change/Management Products
• System Automation Tools
• Application Development Products
• Object Oriented application design
• Object Oriented database design,
• VB and/or VB.Net,
• ASP and/or ASP.Net,
• Web Services,
