Description:

AUTONEXUS ALTONA ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED TECHNICAL SERVICES OFFICER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM!

Reporting into the Technical Officer, your key responsibilities are listed below but are not limited to:

  • Set and deliver technical standards throughout the Fleet Conversion Business network that promotes excellence
  • Identify potential technical issues within the dealer network and implement a strategy/plan with Technical Service Officer team to address (including dealer visits where necessary)
  • Provide a level of support to the vehicle processing centres from a technical support perspective and assist with the training of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all new vehicles
  • Provide qualified mechanical and electrical advice to internal and external customers on the specs of the vehicle
  • Create layout drawings to demonstrate concepts or vehicle layout for Internal and External customers using a CAD software
  • Generate quotes for customers
  • Bills and Materials for Labour Estimation times

About you:

  • Previous experience in Fleet Conversions environment in an automotive industry
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in motor vehicle engineering
  • Experience in CAD software/programs
  • Previous exposure in the vehicle aftermarket to emergency/mine spec/tool of trade fit outs
  • Previous exposure to ADR compliance rules
  • Experience in Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCad Drawing (not required but desirable)
  • Strong presentation skills (not required but desirable)
  • You are a confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to achieve the best result for the business
  • Highly developed analytical and negotiation skills in commercial contracts
  • Ability to initiate, manage and maintain internal and external commercial and customer relationships
  • Strong customer focus and relationship building skills with the ability to solve problems
  • Ability to devise innovative solutions to achieve financial returns to both the customer and the business
  • A self-motivated team player with a “Can Do” attitude
