POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate should have a college diploma/certificate in one of the following trades: carpentry, plumbing, millwright, or electronics/electrician. A proven track record of successful collaboration is essential. Experience with financial management, as well as protocol development and training is considered an asset.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) and must be able to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment where problem solving, multi-tasking, and strict deadlines are required. The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated experience interpreting, applying, and communicating policies and procedures to others in an ever-changing environment. Attention to detail, excellent planning and organization skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with members of the University Community are critical for success in this position.
A valid unrestricted Class 5 Driver’s License with no more than 6 demerits and submission of a motor vehicle record (driver abstract) dated within 3 months of the posting close is required.
