Description:

Our core business is formulating specialty chemistry for oil and gas well servicing in conjunction with providing technical support in a fast paced and dynamic environment. In our near 15 years of operating, we have grown from serving Canadian clients to international ones.
Fusion is currently seeking a full-time technical specialist to join the team in Calgary, AB, Canada. The preferred candidate will be a new grad who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and enjoys a challenge.
- Sample receiving, handling, testing, and disposal requirements
- Client sample testing
- Viscosity/rheological testing
- Water Analysis
- Benchtop wet chemistry
- Microbiology testing
- Corrosion testing
- Surfactant evaluations
- Compatibility testing
- Hydraulic fracturing chemical fluid program design
- QA/QC testing on finished goods
- Research projects
- Non-routine/special client projects
- New product formulations
- On-site customer support at the wellhead
- Serving as a liaison to our clients as required
Two (2) year technical diploma in a relevant field such as petroleum engineering or chemical technician is required. A four (4) year BSc. In chemistry or engineering degree is considered an asset. A class 5 license with a clean driving record is also required.
