This new role works under the general day to day direction of the Manager Information Technology, along with other analysts & developers. This role is responsible for coordinating various technology support initiatives, complex projects, software change management, data analytics, and much more!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day intake, triage, assignment, and management of helpdesk tickets for Enterprise Technology Teams.
  • Resolve technical support issues, recommend solutions, and assist with knowledge management.
  • Coordinate communication, documentation, and training requirements during the implementation of process enhancements and other technical changes across FortisOntario.
  • Oversee and manage various data sources, databases, and interfaces that support Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Time-of-Use (TOU) billing across FortisOntario.
  • Work closely with the technical staff to develop and oversee processes that improve and automate the flow of meter and other data between IT systems.
  • Support end-user training initiatives pertaining to SAP, cybersecurity awareness, Microsoft, & other productivity tools.
  • Support with ad-hoc requests & complete other duties and projects as required.
