    • DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTIONASEL provides integrated security solutions through the provision of technology products and manned guarding resources. Our security solutions bridge the gap through the provision of risk-based integrated security solutions, deployed through our unique ASEL Risk Modelling Tool (ARM). Products combine to provide a best return on investment made by our varied client base, with ASEL sharing strategic best practices wherever possible to the benefit of all clients, reducing risk and costs. Argenbright Security Europe (and its subsidiaries) solutions provide the best return on investment when integrated.The overall purpose of this role is to assist in providing around the clock IT and technical support. To provide remote support of commissioning and service to CCTV, Access control and intruder alarm systems, located in both retail and logistics environment from our office in Oldham.To assist in the integration and implementation of new solutions within our client’s estate.MAIN DUTIES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide technical support as required, alongside the technical manager to our client’s security control team, ASEL Groups installation, commissioning and service engineers.THE KEY AREAS OF DELIVERY ARE:Providing the contracted maintenance and support to our client. This will include but is not limited to the following:Carrying out scheduled backups of critical system databases and configurations.Conducting patch and software updates to ensure compliance with our client’s infosec policies.Running scheduled and reactive reports, including collation of data in order to assist Amberstone and our client’s management team in ensuring compliance with KPIs.Conducting ongoing CCTV and Access control maintenance of critical systems within our client’s control room environment.Administering and maintaining Active directory users and policies to assist in the smooth day to day operation of our client’s monitoring centre.Providing support to 3rd party integrators in the addition of new systems to the CCTV Control room infrastructure.Provide phone and email support to our client’s critical operations, both in and out of hours on a rota basis.Carry out any other ad-hoc duties required to fulfil our service on the maintenance contract between ASEL Group and our Client.Providing remote support for ASEL’S installation and commissioning team including: -Network and site checks to gather data in advance of installation.Commissioning support for the installation of IP CCTV and access control systems.Conducting tests with the assistance of our client’s monitoring centre faculty.Working within a team providing coverage of technical support to our service as required.Adheres to company policy in relation to Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities and complies with all policies and procedures as laid out in the current company handbook.Monitor and conduct service workshop repairs, and ensure all repairs meet customer SLA where required.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCEQualifications and Skills:Previous experience as a service or installation engineer within the security sector is an advantageElectrical qualificationFast learnerPeople and communication skillsEQUALITY & DIVERSITYASEL values the diverse skills and experience of its employees and is committed to achieving equality of opportunity for all.
