Description:
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Experience of working in a fast-paced office environment with conflicting deadlines. Excellent organisational skills, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, on time and with attention to detail.
You will need strong communication skills with colleagues and customers to provide excellent customer service, be a team player and have the ability to prioritise your work on a daily basis depending on the needs of the department.

Responsibilities:
Licensing within Regulatory Services includes assisting new and existing hackney carriage and private hire vehicles and drivers through their licensing application process; ensuring that hackney carriage, private hire vehicles and drivers are fit and proper; keeping policies updated with current legislation; inspecting licensed premises for compliance; street trading and pavement licences, plus much more.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, and innovative individual with drive and determination to join our dedicated team.
You will be working closely with colleagues to deliver a technical support role that is both effective and efficient, whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Your responsibilities will include checking the validity, completeness, accuracy and issuing of all hackney carriage and private hire driver and vehicle licence applications, responding to emails and telephone calls, inputting data into a database, checking compliance and supporting the wider team.
