Description:

10% of Europe’s CO₂ emissions are caused by residential heating, and energy bills are soaring. Aira is here to change that.
With our intelligent Aira Heat Pump at the core, we’re making the switch to clean energy-tech easier and more affordable—helping Europe transition away from gas and cutting energy costs one home at a time.
Founded in 2022, and with over 800 employees, Aira is driving the clean energy revolution by providing homes with modern energy-tech solutions, including solar power, battery storage, and heat pumps. With a state-of-the-art production facility in Poland, HQ in Stockholm, Sweden, and hubs across the UK, Germany, and Italy, Aira is set to install clean energy solutions in 5 million homes by 2034.
About the Role
Our R&D team, consisting of over 80 talented specialists across our Stockholm and Helsingborg sites, is growing. We are looking for a skilled Technical Support Specialist to provide 3rd line technical support for our advanced heat pump systems, ensuring optimal performance and installation across multiple countries. You will be key to resolving complex issues and enhancing the customer experience, playing a critical role in Aira’s success.

What you will be doing as a Technical Support Specialist:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex heat pump issues escalated by product specialists and technicians in the UK, Germany, and Italy.
  • Analyse data, graphs, and system behaviour to identify the root cause of problems.
  • If needed, assist with conducting lab and field tests to replicate issues and collaborate with stakeholders to develop lasting solutions.
  • Occasionally travel to hubs to provide hands-on support and gather insights on installation practices across different countries.
  • Communicate technical findings clearly, write guides, and create detailed documentation to share knowledge across internal teams and hubs.
  • Provide both hardware and software support, ensuring seamless integration of the two.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve technical issues related to hardware and software on their side.

What we would like you to have as a Technical Support Specialist:

  • Strong knowledge of heat pump systems is essential.
  • Experience in technical support roles, particularly in 3rd line support.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to critically assess information and develop practical solutions.
  • Experience working with electrical schematics, piping and refrigeration systems is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
  • Eagerness to continuously learn and grow as a subject-matter expert.
  • Ability to create documentation and guides to educate others within the organisation.

Why Join Aira?
At Aira, you’ll be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking environment where your expertise is valued and contributes directly to shaping the future of sustainable heating solutions.
