Within the Food & Beverage division of Ecolab, we are looking for a Technical Excellence Specialist Brewery & Beverage-UK to support the Brewery & Beverage market. The local team provides solutions to the Food & Beverage manufacturers in UK in relation with hygiene to help them addressing the biggest challenges and supporting the achievement of their targets.
The role of the Technical Excellence Specialist is to support the sales by acting as the technical expert for the promotion of our brand and our products on the UK market: carrying out audits, recommending good hygiene practices, finding innovative cleaning solutions, supporting customer trainings, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Field Support - Troubleshooting customer sanitation and related problems, including food product quality and microbial safety concerns.
  • Application Support – Support the local Sales/Service Representative or Corporate Account Manager to provide specific application support for products and programs. This can include surveys and offer preparation, start-up, optimization, cost saving opportunities, or conversion of new offerings across a given customer base or market segment.
  • Training & Education – Provide training for Food & Beverage personnel and customers in sanitation programs, technical application of sanitation products and methods of problem solving.
  • Liaison with customers, universities, technical associations, and vendors to the food industry as well as keeping current on new technologies, technical information and government regulations is essential.
  • Phone Support - Provide effective, accurate, courteous, and prompt consultation and routine phone technical service to both internal and external customers with commitment to follow-up and resolution.
  • You will always have the support of your colleagues within the Technical Excellence team.
  • Your main focus will be validations and improvements of CIP processes at our customers as well as supporting our applications in the bottling hall.
  • You will promote the Ecolab Culture – Safety is our priority, maintain a positive outlook, team spirit and overall represents the Ecolab Culture in a positive manner to the industry.
