About the role
Balfour Beatty are currently looking for a Technical Training Administrator to join our Connect Plus Services (CPS) team based at our Scratchwood depot.
Within this role you’ll provide a comprehensive, cost-effective training service to managers and staff to ensure that all employees have the necessary skills and certificates to carry out their roles.
What you’ll be doing

As a Technical Training Administrator you’ll

  • Work as part of the Joint venture Training Team providing effective and timely administration in support of the training activities.
  • Ensure that the relevant training is booked and delivered.
  • Complete personal training to keep current with the job role.
  • Raise PO’s, receipting orders and resolving invoice queries/Maintaining Training financial database
  • Co-ordinate and administer CITB levy/claim with BB.
  • Liaise with internal and external Training Providers.
  • Book training venues when required.
  • Update, develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive training records.
  • Develop as a primary user for administering the Training Database Records
  • Extract, consolidate and manipulate learning and development data for regular reports and on request.
  • Be able to respond to other Training Department requirements.
  • Monitor qualification expiry dates to ensure that renewals take place in good time.
  • Continue to develop and improve current systems to ensure on-going compliance on qualifications, to meet industry standards/regulations.

Who we’re looking for

THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES/EXPERIENCE ARE ESSENTIAL:

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Intermediate working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
