We are looking for a Technical Training Analyst to join our team at AES.
The position will support the Technical Training function among AES. Working on the Technical training strategy for the business as it accelerates the future of energy. It will bring specific workflow, content and process around technical areas and make them global, with a local perspective. Workday is the AES Learning Management System (LMS) and will be the source of training content and tracking.
REQUIREMENTS.
- Bachelor of Engineering/Technical field; Business Administration or related.
- Advanced English (mandatory to support International Projects)
- Relevant experience with similar roles / activities, specifically regarding technical trainings, preferably in the energy industry / Generation.
- Experience with Project management and Workday Learning Management will be valued.
- Knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge and usage of Power BI
Responsibilities:
- Be the key point with technical training SMEs;
- Deliver through the L&D delivery model;
- Understand the business needs and create learning journeys accordingly;
- Prepare and suggest training budget for the organization and special technical programs;
- Evaluate programs effectiveness;
- Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual materials and other educational materials;
- In partnership with Internal Communications create branded materials and communications to support L&D initiatives;
- Use Workday Learning daily for: organizing content, reporting on usage, reporting on test results;
- Create surveys in Workday learning to understand learner experience;
- Collaboration with the various learning ambassadors/Funcional admins to understand learning demands and gaps that may exist;
- Analyze technical training needs and develop programs to address them;
- Train internal teams on Workday navigation;
- Develop partnership with the stakeholders to support and advise them in achieving their technical training needs;
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop specifications for course content in line with Business Strategy;
- Provide orientation and training on new course materials;
- Manage delivery of internal and externally provided training;
- Track compliance with assigned courses;
- Coordinate and manage vendor contracts;
- Maintain global governance tools, process maps, global documentation;
- Develop metrics and uses assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of programs that support organizational development;
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets Monitor training personnel records to ensure that employees have met all company training requirements for company and regulatory compliance.
