We are looking for a talented Technical Writer to author, edit, and review product documentation. You will be a core part of the Agency Trading Trading technical writer team working closely with engineering, QA, and customer service to create resources that don’t just document what the product does, but accelerate a user from novice to power user. You will be working in a global team with colleagues in other regions and time zones with a mix of projects, maintenance, and operations.

You have strong writing skills, and the ability to synthesize technical content that clearly explains the topic/task to end users based on their persona.

Your main responsibility will be to gather information from our global Engineering teams and own the delivery of quality documentation to our clients around the world and our support teams.

Responsibilities

• Planning, writing, reviewing, publishing, and maintaining user and administration guides for our Agency Trading software offering
• Improving the existing technical documentation
• Performing process and quality assurance work to continuously improve the team’s standards and output
• Show initiative and come with proposals that bring technical value to the team.

• Atlassian Confluence and Jira
• Microsoft Suite
• TechSmith SnagIt
• Microsoft Visio

Your profile:

• University degree preferably in English, Technical Writing, IT, or Finance
• 3+ years of e xperience in software technical writing or a similar role
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Good communicator, eager to forge working relationships, and able to interview Subject Matter Experts
• Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and describe them in a way that’s easy to understand
• Ability to research, summarize, and conceptualize information
• Strong attention to detail
• Strongly involved in the tasks you are entrusted with
• Able to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Previous experience in an IT environment and/or Fintech is a plus
