Description:
Summary
Andersen, an international IT company, invites an experienced Technical Writer / Documentation Engineer to work in the field of Information Technology and Services.
The customer is an international passenger and cargo transportation service. It is among the top 3 mobile services for ordering rides in the world: 150 million installations, 1 billion trips, 600+ cities in 45 countries.
The project involves creating comprehensive product documentation for application. The documentation will cover product decision records (PRDs), configurations of features in the admin panel, and detailed feature descriptions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and engineers to ensure that product documentation is accurate, clear, user-friendly, and complete.
- Review and provide feedback on documentation written by other team members.
- Publish content written in Markdown and reviewed on GitHub to our documentation platform or Confluence.
- Contribute to improving the writing team’s content, style, processes, and templates.
Requirements
- Experience in Technical Writing, specifically for software products for 2+ years.
- Familiarity with software development concepts, including version control (GitHub), APIs, and basic programming concepts.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, JIRA, and GitHub.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts, ability to translate complex ideas into clear and concise documentation, attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Level of English – from Intermediate.
