TECHNICAL WRITER/EDITOR FOR DEFENCE PRODUCTS
Systematic Defence Business Unit is looking for an experienced Technical Writer/Editor to join our growing business. Do you have excellent English writing skills and a passion for writing user documentation for world leading defence software products? Then you might be the person we are looking for.

We are looking for self-motivated and highly energetic individual, with an ambition and professional commitment to deliver high-quality user documentation to our end-user community.
- Relevant degree in English, Technical Writing or related field required.
- 3+ years of proven experience in writing end-user documentation
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts
- Ability to prioritize across multiple projects, work independently and deliver to agreed deadlines
- Ability to edit and proofread work of colleagues
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills (proficiency at the level of native speaker preferred)
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Solid grip on documentation publishing software such as MadCap Flare
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Attention to detail combined with ability to execute

Responsibilities:
- Prepare end-user manuals and online help for our software products
- Create user documentation through collaboration with subject matter experts
- Help colleagues creating engaging documentation
- Improve, simplify and consolidate existing content
- Convert complex information to easily accessible communication for multiple audiences
- Create product manuals with screenshots and tutorials
- Communicate complex ideas in a concise manner
