We are searching for a Technical Writer who wants to make a difference. Juvare’s Product Communications team is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented writer to craft and maintain software documentation that drives our government and corporate clients’ success in emergency management, public health, and healthcare.
Location: Atlanta, GA or Remote
Reports To: Manager of Product Communications
Job Duties:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, support, and client success, to thoroughly understand our products and their documentation needs.
- Design, write, and maintain high-quality documentation for both internal and external audiences.
- Utilize Madcap Flare to create, manage, and publish clear, precise documentation, adhering to both general technical writing standards and our specific style guide.
- Evaluate and enhance existing content based on structured review protocols.
- Ensure a consistent voice across all documentation, prioritizing clarity and cohesion.
- Plan and maintain the information architecture to optimize content reuse and accessibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- At least five years of experience in technical writing, specifically within the software industry.
- At least five years of experience with Madcap Flare.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Expertise in English grammar, syntax, and formatting.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience contributing to and working with style guides and other documentation tools.
