TECHNICAL WRITER

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to develop comprehensive technical documentation for flight controllers and mission operator user interfaces (UI). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of aerospace technologies, user interface design, and technical documentation best practices. You will collaborate closely with engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in aerospace, aviation, or related industries.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of flight control systems, avionics, and user interfaces.
• Tools Proficiency: Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar.
• Writing Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey technical information clearly and accurately.
• Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and a passion for accuracy in technical content.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Agility: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with programming languages and APIs.
• Knowledge of regulatory documentation standards (FAA, EASA).
• Experience with UI/UX design documentation.
