JOB SCOPE

• Installation : Install various types of window blind systems, including manual and motorized models, in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.Ensure precise measurements and fittings for optimal functionality and aesthetic appeal.Assemble and install brackets, headrails, and other components according to manufacturer specifications.
• Inspection : Conduct thorough inspections of installed window blind systems to ensure proper operation and adherence to safety standards.Identify and diagnose issues or potential problems in both new and existing installations.Perform routine maintenance checks and service calls to keep systems functioning smoothly.
• Repair : Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning window blind systems, including motor replacements, re-alignment, and fixing control mechanisms.Replace damaged or worn-out parts, such as slats, cords, and hardware.Provide emergency repair services to address urgent issues and minimize downtime for clients.
• Modification : Modify existing window blind systems to meet changing client needs or preferences, such as adding automation or upgrading to newer models.Customize solutions to fit unique window shapes and sizes, ensuring compatibility with existing decor.Retrofit old systems with modern features, such as smart home integration and energy-saving enhancements.
• Customer Service : Provide professional advice and consultation to clients regarding the best window blind solutions for their specific needs.Educate clients on proper use, maintenance, and care of their window blind systems.Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Documentation : Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and building regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in installing, inspecting, repairing, and modifying window blind systems.Proven track record of successfully handling various types of window blinds, including manual, motorized, and smart systems.
• Technical Skills : Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment related to window blind installation and repair.Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring, particularly for motorized and automated blinds.Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manufacturer instructions.
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Other Requirements :Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry trends and new technologies.Strong customer service orientation and a professional demeanor.
