Technician – Aviation Slides & Rafts

An exciting opportunity for someone to join Avia Technique, a leading UK aviation maintenance and repair centre for safety and survival equipment such as life jackets, oxygen masks, heat exchangers, fire extinguishers and emergency exit slides. With significant growth in recent years, turnover currently at over £30m, over 250 customers and continued growth we are looking for experienced Technician for our newest UK facility based in Witham, Essex.
Prior experience of aviation slides and rafts is essential.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
· Perform high quality work in accordance with correct maintenance data
· Ensure compliance with regulatory framework and internal quality policies
· Work closely with colleagues to prioritise workload
· Always demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
Person requirements:
· Experience with slides and rafts (minimum 2 years)
· Excellent attention to detail
· Problem solving skills & experience of solving difficult problems
· Excellent communication and numeracy skills
· Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage own workload
· Self-motivated
· Prepared to learn new skills and work on own initiative
· Great verbal communication skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £32,000.00-£36,750.00 per year
