POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment within client facilities. Your role includes conducting regular maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. This full-time role requires regular travel across Central Queensland, covering areas including but not limited to Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Maryborough, Emerald, and Longreach. The position is Monday to Friday.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Technician or in a similar role.
  • Technical proficiency in equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and commitment to compliance.
  • Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in inventory management is advantageous.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to travel as required.
  • Valid driver’s license and full working rights in Australia.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing learning and certification programs.
  • Vaccinations for COVID-19 and annual influenza.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and calibration of equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, conducting necessary repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding equipment status and repair timelines.
  • Manage inventory of parts, tools, and equipment needed for efficient repairs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills.
  • Adhere to company policies, client procedures, and industry standards.
