Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As Technician Downstream Processing (DSP), you will be part of an exciting international R&D and business environment, working with cutting edge technologies and a broad portfolio of diverse projects. In your new role you will be supporting the development of enzyme production processes in the sector of downstream processing of microbial cultures. Process technology is a key competence at AB Enzymes/ R&D and the Technician role is aimed to increase throughput with practical “hands on” work in many critical product and exploration projects.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Plan, execute and evaluate downstream experiments from microbial cultures according to agreed targets
- Use and maintain different lab scale downstream process devices
- Record and document the experiments (English reporting format)
- Work in close cooperation with colleagues in the fermentation and downstream process discipline to develop reliable production processes with bacteria and fungi as production hosts in R&D scale
- Support the development and optimisation of downstream protocls, which are transferable to manufacturing scale
- Take care of good laboratory and safety practices
