Description:
DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager (or General Manager), the Technician for Electromechanical Equipment and Robotics plays an integral role in our operations. This position involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CCTV systems, electromechanical equipment, and robotic systems.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of CCTV, electromechanical equipment, and/or robotic systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or associate degree in a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, and robotic programming is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Work may be performed in various settings, including on the project site/field, in the office, in the manufacturing shop, and outdoors
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, maintain, troubleshoot and repair CCTV cameras and related hardware
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot video feed, cables, wiring systems, and system integration issues
- Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on various electromechanical systems
- Calibrate and adjust robotic tools and equipment
- Working primarily in an electronics lab environment, focusing on device repairs.
