Description:
Do you thrive in a fast-paced and international start-up environment, and feel excited about working with our product development teams to support our 3D-printing system? We are looking for a technician to join our growing team of 30+ talented colleagues representing more than 20 nationalities.
You will be the one helping us to ensure that our production is running smoothly so we hope you love both, proper system building and trouble-shooting.
The role is permanent, full-time and on-site in Espoo. Your work might include traveling up to 2 months a year within Europe including the United Kingdom.
Your responsibilities:
Installing and assembling electrical and mechanical systems and components according to specifications and safety standards
Wiring electrical components and connecting devices to the automation control box
Setting up network communications between devices
Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality
Assisting engineers to run and document various tests
Maintaining detailed records of installations, maintenance, repairs, and modifications
Suggesting new solutions that will improve the overall performance
You should have:
Basic technical education (below university degree; preferably ammattikoulu) in electrical or mechanical engineering
At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role with focus on maintenance and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of electrical principles and components
Ability to read and implement wiring and piping diagrams
Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and components
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Beneficial: Certified to handle 220 and 400v wiring
Proficient spoken and written English skills, clear and effective communication
Thriving in a fast-paced start-up environment
Ability to work independently and in a team
