TECHNICIAN IN CREATIVE AND PERFORMING ARTS

Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to recruit a Technician to provide support for the Creative and performing Arts department, in practical areas including preparation for practical classes, organisation of maintenance and repairs, co-ordination and requisition of supplies. This post is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to develop their skills in the operation of lighting and sounds in a College Theatre, TV studio and media recording studio. The technician will also support external conferences and events which are held in these facilities.

Suitable candidates will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, or be able to demonstrate relevant industrial experience. It is desirable that candidates are also qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and are Health and Safety and First Aid qualified.
