Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Technician, Instrumentation is responsible for performing routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on non-chromatographic laboratory and clinical equipment. Technician, Instrumentation also provides coaching and training for laboratory and clinic employees.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE

  • To perform calibration, routine and preventative maintenance of non-chromatographic laboratory and clinical equipment;Â
  • To perform troubleshooting and repair on non-chromatographic laboratory and clinical equipment;Â
  • Coaching and training of laboratory and clinic employeesÂ
  • To provide its technical expertise as part of the event resolution.Â
  • To conduct all work in compliance with SOPs, GLPs, and observe all company guidelines and policies.Â
  • Respecting Health and Safety standards in terms of personal protection, laboratory maintenance, and work procedures;Â
  • To participate in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies;Â
  • To collaborate with laboratory and clinical trainers to ensure the suitable operation of laboratory and clinical equipment;Â
  • To act as the backup for the disaster recovery plan with regards to freezers and refrigerators (laboratory and clinical);
