Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY:
An amazing opportunity is available for a Microbiology technician to join our Christchurch Laboratory. Learn on the job and use your degree in a practical setting in the Pathogens Department
As Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Routine sample testing within the given turn-around-time (TAT)
- Strictly adhere to all laboratory and regulatory quality assurance procedures
- Ensure all relevant records are kept up to date at all times
- Use aseptic technique and maintain a clean and tidy work area
This is a Permanent role working 40 hours a week and will include one weekend day. Please be advised these opportunities may require some flexibility to work overtime as the lab is functioning 7 days a week.
