Job Description
We are looking for a supervisory technician to join our team specializing in road engineering, which is made up of passionate people known for their expertise and synergy. If road engineering holds no secrets for you, and you’ve also been involved in a number of multidisciplinary projects in transport, civil engineering and urban infrastructure, we’d like to have you on our great team.
You’ll benefit from ongoing professional training, and you’ll be involved in large-scale projects with major clients such as REM and the Ministry of Transport.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma of college studies (DCS) in civil engineering or an equivalent
  • At least five years of experience supervising construction sites in the framework of projects for the MTQ or other public companies in the same area (transportation infrastructure assets, bridges, and engineering structures)
  • Completed OHS training for construction sites (ASP Construction card)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
  • Available to work nights or weekends as required

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team in road engineering to ensure monitoring of ongoing works in the Greater Montreal Area
  • Ensure work supervision and participate in solving problems on construction sites
  • Compile quantitative data on construction sites and submit them to engineers
  • Provide information related to the interpretation of final drawings and specifications to enable the contractor to carry out the required work
  • Monitor work progress based on drawings and specifications
  • Prepare recommendations for work acceptance and deficiency list
