Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will be working within a manufacturing lab, preparing reagents, intermediates and carrying out testing using standard operating procedures and production documentation ensuring they meet performance specifications and good manufacturing practice standards. Attention to detail and accuracy are key in this role. Full training will be given for all processes carried out by our skilled and dedicated team. - Keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
- Manufacture of intermediates and final reagents. Including in process testing.
- Handling of microorganisms for use in testing
- Monitoring of stock levels for products that you are manufacturing.
- Be responsible for the quality of manufactured reagents, completed documentation and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Use of computerised systems for stock control monitoring to ensure items are available for when they are needed.
- Highlight any health and safety or quality issues to help support our site safety culture
- Engage in PPI (continuous improvement) programs as required.
- Any other duties/projects as are reasonable and within the skills and ability of the post holder.
- Actively participate in training, which will be given for all processes carried out.
