Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
Veolia ANZ is seeking a Technician / Operator / Maintainer to join our water team based in Bundamba 4304. As the Technician / Operator / Maintainer you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the plants to ensure contractual requirements are met while minimising environmental, public health, and occupational health and safety impacts.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor all plant equipment, processes, and systems to meet operational targets
- Perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on plant assets
- Troubleshoot and rectify equipment/process faults and alarms
- Conduct laboratory testing, analysis, and sample collection
- Maintain accurate records and reports on plant performance
- Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality policies/procedures
- Assist with plant optimisation, commissioning, and reporting activities
- Provide training and supervision to other operators as needed
- Participate in an after hours on-call roster and attend call-outs as required
