SUMMARY

Technologists (Analysts) will use their technical expertise to support research efforts, conduct investigations, and hold companies accountable for the misuse of technology. This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Work with fellow Technologists to apply technical knowledge, methodologies, concepts, tools, techniques, and ways of thinking to execute projects in support of the agency’s efforts to eliminate algorithmic bias, ensure data security and consumer privacy, and regulate emerging technologies

  • .Execute on project work in support of the larger technologist program by investigating or analyzing a variety of unusual conditions, problems, or questions
  • .Advocate for the adoption and consideration the latest design and technology trends in projects
  • .Perform special investigative or research assignments as directed, which may involve a variety of Bureau authorities and require collaboration across disciplines
