Description:
DESCRIPTION
This Purolator TMS Dev/ops team role supports Purolator’s SAP Transportation Management (TM) Module by supporting operations for all users this module; developing application code in accordance with application standards and best practices, unite testing and end to end testing and being on-call for all tickets opened for this module. The role holder works on multiple projects per year that include enhancements, interfaces, and break fixes for our platforms. This individual is responsible for analyzing, developing, and delivering the technical solution that satisfies the end user in conjunction with the SAP functional consultant. The Developer also works with incident management software to investigate, resolve issues with various applications, and resolve defects. The Developer unit tests all changes to applications to ensure that the quality level delivered to QA is acceptable and documents these test cases. This individual is well versed in agile methodologies and development.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in Computer Science at accredited college/university.
- 5+ years’ experience in developing in with SAP ABAP, Enhancements Web Dynpro, BOPF.
MANDATORY SKILLS:
- SAP ABAP Programing at high level of expertise.
- SAP Enhancement Framework development experience.
- SAP Web Dynpro and FPM development experience
- SAP BOPF Framework development experience
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsibilities include both support and development and testing tasks.
- Understand and interpret functional requirements as described in the functional design documents prepared by the SAP functional team member.
- Develop, integrate, test, maintain and enhance existing and proprietary platform applications (e.g. SAP).
- Design, develop and unit test technical solutions for moderate to complex work objects assigned.
- Provide support to test teams during product and UAT testing of the technical solution developed.
- Prepare and implement the technical solution to the production environment.
- Investigate and provide post implementation support of the technical solution implemented.
- On-call responsibilities include being on-call for 2 weeks per month; answering User calls, addressing high incidents created in off hours and validating system functionality following system patching.
- Hybrid work model, attend corporate office 2- 3 days per week.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Agile Development
- Participate in sprint planning, design, coding, unit testing, sprint reviews.
- Develop technical documentation for work completed; develop test-plans and execute these test plans recording results; perform development, integration, and be involved in the deployment of the new changes.
