Technology Development Lead (Innovation & Sustainability)

Industry: Chemical Manufacturing MNC (Consumer Care & Life Science)

• Take on a leadership role for the adoption of new technologies within Corporate Development in Asia.
• Collaborate with Consumer Care, Life Sciences, and other group functions to ensure the company achieves its innovation and sustainability goals.
• Evaluate the measurable impact of individual new technology projects on the business, focusing on potential revenue and sustainability outcomes.
• Ensure that current activities align with targets and propose solutions to address any gaps
• Engage with academic experts and external advisors (within budget limitations) on new technologies that are relevant to the company’s interests.
• Maintain up-to-date external and internal reporting, with a requirement for at least quarterly updates.
• Identify new project opportunities and enhance the organization’s knowledge of emerging technologies and scientific methods.
• Communicate this knowledge effectively within the business.
• Collaborate with the broader R&D community to assess the potential impact
• Assist in creating effective communication materials, such as PowerPoint presentations and reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Innovation and new technology projects.
• Degree in Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry.
• Strong interest in technologies and sustainability
• Proven ability of good networking and influencing skills
• Expected to find innovation opportunities for thebusinesses and work with staturory boards for Innovation funding for projects
