SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Professional Services delivering technology and digital advisory work.
  • Experience delivering engagements across the full lifecycle, from proposing through to finalising the deliverable.
  • Passionate about technology and able to demonstrate mechanisms for self-development and learning.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working on multiple engagement simultaneously.
  • Collaborative and emotionally intelligent, able to blend in-person meetings and remote working with a willingness to travel when necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop client relationships and build trust.
  • Attention to detail and excellent time and financial management skills.

Responsibilities:

As a Manager within the Technology and Digital Advisory team you will be responsible for leading the delivery of work to a range of clients with both national and international footprints, across a broad range of industries, including (but not limited to):

  • Financial Services, Insurance and Investment and Retail Banking;
  • Privately owned companies and their owners;
  • Manufacturing and Automotive;
  • Central and Local Government; and
  • Retail and Consumer products organisations.

Joining the team as a Technology Advisory Manager, you will be working directly with the leadership team in Technology and Digital Advisory, as well as overseeing a rapidly expanding team, delivering a range of technology advisory services to our clients and actively supporting our business development and growth activity.

Responsibilities
The prime role of a Technology Advisory Manager is to lead and deliver projects, and also to provide support with business development activities. As a Manager you would be in a key client-facing role managing all aspects of the project lifecycle; inputting into sales or ‘business development’ process, by project planning and budgeting; then in delivery coaching and upskilling team members, overseeing fieldwork and reviewing and producing deliverables for the client.

Your will responsibilities include:

  • Involvement in all aspects of the advisory sales cycle including business development and lead qualification, scoping and budget setting, engagement management and creation of deliverables;
  • Working with numerous stakeholders, both externally with our clients and internally with our firmwide colleagues;
  • Providing analysis and recommendation in line with client strategies, communicated in clear and concise business language;
  • Demonstrating subject matter expertise across various advisory domains (e.g. Enterprise Architecture, Digital Transformation, Cloud) and understanding how this translates into relevant and leading industry-based practices;
  • Managing the coordination and communication of key findings and results of engagements, producing written reports and supporting oral presentations to senior client management and key senior stakeholders;
  • Ability to adapt delivery style between pure advisory engagements and risk-focussed engagements delivered through the internal audit channel;
  • Driving innovation and proactively pursuing emerging technology trends;
  • Managing and mentoring staff assigned as members of engagements; and
  • Contributing to the development of new services, approaches and methodologies.
