Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Technology-Facilitated CSEA Research Associate post will join and support a cadre of researchers at all career stages to further specific aspects of the Data Institute research. This post specifically will be responsible for providing data/research assistance to the analysis of the prevalence and nature of CSEA from a variety of datasets concerning technology-facilitated CSEA for the Into the Light Global Index and Searchlight reports. This post may also assist in helping to support other research and research administration related activities in the topic areas of CSEA to inform the foundational work of the Global Data Institute.
This post is open ended and full time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
The salary for this post is UE06 £33,882 - £39,105 per annum.
YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to generate ideas and solutions for safeguarding children.
- Experience of conducting a variety of analyses on administrative and big data including preparing data reports
- Experience of conducting literature reviews
- Experience of working with diverse stakeholders in relation to research
- Experience of undertaking research administrative tasks
- Experience in working with big data
- Experience in collaborating with private and public partners around data sharing and analysis
