Become a Technology Infrastructure Analyst - Temporary Assignment up to 18 Months with MPAC
The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) is made up of a team of experts who understand local communities and assess every property in Ontario. What we do provides the very foundation that municipalities use to base the property taxes needed to pay for the services we use every day.

Responsibilities:

WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT FOR THIS ROLE?

You are a customer-focused individual who can provide operational and technical support for the technology infrastructure through the establishment of program standards for configuration and technical assistance to other staff, by providing specialized assistance with the evaluation, deployment and production of management information technology systems in MPAC.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide front line technical support to MPAC staff regarding technology infrastructure and service delivery for a robust and resilient technology infrastructure
  • Provide direct customer service support in technology infrastructure troubleshooting, problem identification, isolation and resolution
  • Maintain systems and data security through the implementation of processes and procedures and on-going monitoring of staff adherence to the standards and procedures to ensure a secure technology environment
  • Provide support for front line service staff in the daily use of technology and systems delivered on Windows/Mac and IOS/Android Operating System platforms
  • Provide maintenance services of servers located in all offices
  • Provide technical support to ensure connectivity of all types of workstation operating systems used by MPAC, to the file servers
  • Assist in technical installation and management of data backup software, and ensure that backups are performed and that adequate test / restore and restore procedures are available
  • Maintain collaborative and sustainable partnerships with clients by providing staff with guidance and support to meet technology infrastructure requirements
  • Work remotely from direct management and provide remote Service Desk functions
