As a Technology Project Management – Outcome / Value Steam Lead, you will be working for our client, a major global banking and financial services organization renowned for driving digital transformation and innovation. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of core applications and services, ensuring they meet operational needs within a self-managed team. Your focus will be on managing program strategy and delivery across multiple projects, leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance business automation and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading the delivery of core applications and services to meet operational needs
- Managing program strategy and approach across multiple projects and activities
- Driving proactive delivery by balancing scope, schedule, resources, and budget
- Overseeing project governance meetings and ensuring adherence to standard controls
- Reporting progress, issues, and risks to internal stakeholders and steering committees
- Directing IT Project Managers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and other resources
- Aligning solutions with the client’s strategic visions and roadmaps
- Building stakeholder buy-in and managing program commitments and changes
- Supporting and influencing decision-making to maintain progress towards delivery
- Collaborating with global stakeholders and maintaining strong business partnerships
YOU’RE IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience dealing with senior management and a wide array of global stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence
- Proficiency in identifying and managing risks with effective mitigation plans
- A solid understanding of value units, products, and the challenges in the financial sector
- Proven track record in managing sizable teams, including budget and planning responsibilities
- Strong data analysis skills to drive actionable insights and change
- Experience with executive reporting and presentations using tools like PowerPoint
- Outstanding collaboration skills with a focus on building strong partnerships
- Customer-centric mindset with a keen understanding of technology benefits
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Financial Services
