Description:
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors or Higher in Chemical Engineering.
- Extensive relevant technical experience including UOP Field Operating Service, UOP Engineering, or equivalent industry. experience in process operations, technical service, or engineering design.
- Experience with at least one of the following UOP Technologies (Platforming, Isomerization, Oleflex, Aromatics, Hydroprocessing) is preferred.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Possesses strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for UOP technologies like NHT, CCR Platforming, Fixed Bed Platforming, Penex, Butamer, and ParIsom.
- Support both external and internal customers, including licensees and contractors, through technology transfer and service delivery projects.
- Complete the transfer of our technology to deliver to our customers’ UOP-licensed or UOP designed units that operate optimally, profitably, and safely in technology and product delivery projects. Deliver digital and other services to enable customers to operate with improved reliability and enhanced profitability. To do so, you will hold regular interaction with external customers and with other UOP personnel involved in these projects and services.
- Partner and work closely with R&D, Sales, Engineering, and other departments to improve technology and service delivery.
- Prepare and update general operating manuals, process technology manuals, and training materials.
