Technology Technician
Required January
Term Time Only (43.6 weeks paid per year)
18.5 hours per week.
We are looking for a Technology Technician to provide effective technical and practical workshop support to students on the 3D Design A-level and BTEC Engineering courses. The successful applicant will have appropriate experience of practical workshop processes, including working with and maintaining wood and metal machining tools and traditional hand tools, and be willing to upskill on other machinery and techniques.
The hours are flexible to suit the successful candidate but would ideally be spread throughout the week.

Salary: This post will be paid at Point 5 on the Support Staff Pay Scale. The annual salary for a FT post at this point is £22,736pa which is £9,531pa prorated for 18.5 hours pw term time only (0.419 fte).
