Based in Newcastle City Centre, the role would offer some flexibility to work remotely in line with business needs.

The role in summary

  • Monitor and maintain physical endpoints.
  • Monitor and manage IT assets.
  • Manage the physical setup in UK office workspaces (Newcastle and London).
  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs and upgrades as necessary.
  • Procure hardware and software
  • Automate access management and provisioning of endpoints configurations
  • Administer SaaS tools and Vendor portals including MS Office 365, Exchange Online, Intune, Sharepoint, Google Workspace and others.
  • Manage access controls in line with internal and industry security policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical help desk support to business users, via Helpdesk Portal (50-60 users).
  • Maintain and continuously improve the IT support knowledge database.
  • Onboard and offboard internal users.

You would be ideally suited for us, and us for you, if you have…

  • Proven experience in IT support and endpoint management, ideally in a distributed environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with endpoint management tools, scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, etc.), and automation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles, hardware configurations, and common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Basic knowledge of networking and administration of VPNs
