Tecnical Support Technician
Job Objective

Tecnical Support Technician is in charge of the implementation of:

  • Internal system factory tests activity normally done for a reference system platform or customer platform relevant to a product or solution supply relevant to a project.
  • Test and commissioning activity. He must also ensure the management of site activities for Transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct factory tests and on site at the customer’s premises, as well as commissioning, analyze the results and make them available.
  • Participate to the Project Meetings (internal and external: with the Customer, Hitachi Rail subcontractors and other entities) when scheduled and/or requested.
  • Coordinate the subcontractors on site activities.
  • Correctly apply Quality procedures and HSE procedures and instruction of his team.
  • Participate to the Project reviews in line with Company standard processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to finalize spare parts list and time schedules for the planned Deployment, T&C and maintenance tasks.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.
  • Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology Qualifications/ University Degree or Equivalent Technical Background.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in deployment and/or test and commissioning activity for Transportation projects (i.e. signalling and TLC systems used for the Tramway, Metro and railway applications).
  • The capability to relate with the relevant stakeholders in an international context.
  • Availability to travel based on mission formula.
  • Experience in multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux)

Considered as a Plus - Knowledge / Skills / Frameworks

  • Ability to work in team and problem solving;
  • Software Development/Software Engineering Background;
  • Ability to work with dedicated repairs sw tools (i.e. JIRA, Sap etc.)
