We are looking for a talented MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN LEVEL III to join our specialized MANUFACTURING team for our CUMMINS company in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.
In this role, you will have an impact in the following ways:
Health, Safety and Environment (HSE):
- Identify and immediately report any work related hazards and comply with HSE regulations.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and promote a safe and responsible environment.
- Actively participate in HSE training and minimize the environmental impact of activities.
Quality:
- Apply high standards of workmanship in the maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Perform work according to specifications and manuals, providing feedback for preventive maintenance system.
- Update and maintain quality documentation, including emergency ticket closures, and perform inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
Delivery:
- Resolve technical problems, coordinate maintenance tasks, and direct other technicians in complex activities.
- Keep work area organized and meet business objectives by identifying and reducing manufacturing constraints.
- Plan maintenance activities around production requirements and improve processes, in addition to 100% preventive compliance.
- Involve in the creation and review of process documentation, and the design of layouts and workstations using AutoCAD/Inventor.
Close emergency tickets.
Teamwork:
- Communicate effectively with the team and other shifts to ensure smooth transition and task completion.
- Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and collaborate in continuous process improvement, safety and team development.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced knowledge of pneumatics.
- Advanced knowledge of electronics.
- Skills for mechanical adjustments.
- Basic knowledge of the use of control systems, measurement and maximum uses.
- Knowledge of LOTO, work at height and electrical safety.
- Advanced knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and sanitation.
- Have at least 12 months of the last promotion.
- Excellent punctuality and attendance record in the last 12 months (No warnings or suspensions).
