Modeled after the American Society of Quality (ASQ) definition of Quality Technician, the Panduit Quality Technician is a paraprofessional who, in support of and under the direction of quality engineers or supervisors, assists with analyzing and solving quality problems, performs calibration of measurement and test equipment, prepares inspection plans and instructions, assists in the selection of sampling plans, prepares procedures, trains inspection personnel and junior Technicians, performs audits, analyzes and compiles quality data, generates quality related reports, applies fundamental statistical methods for process control, and participates in quality improvement teams.
