Then apply now to become our Tekla modeller within our Warehouse Solution Engineering department!
What will you be doing?
As a Tekla Steel modeller, you are a member of the Steelwork Competence Team. Your primary responsibility is to create 3D Tekla models of the steel structures and platforms needed for our Material Handling Systems projects. This includes the modelling of main steel structures consisting of steel columns, beams and braces, but also flooring, stairs, ladders, guard-railing, etc. In this role it’s about setting up the model to a certain level of development but eventually hand-over to suppliers of Vanderlande to proceed with this, detailing it out and prepare for production. In projects, you will work independently and work closely together with the Steel Structural Engineer. Due to the dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment, you will work and align with internal project-team members (layout-engineers, structural engineers and project-leaders) and external parties (customers, engineering companies, steel manufactures). You will be responsible to produce accurate and reliable models that are in line with provided structural designs, specifications, safety-requirements and regulations.
Next to projects you will maintain and develop Tekla as a tool and macros for components like stairs, guard-railing, ladders etc. considering regulations, and costs.
